Is the speaker entertaining as well as informative?
There is nothing worse than a packed house with a boring speaker! You will not have to worry when booking David. His use of personal stories, appropriate and timely humor, the occasional use of mentalism or suggestibility testing are all components to making the session memorable and purposeful. David is not a comic. Rather, David is a professional speaker who understands the various learning styles of the audience and will employ several methods to capture and inspire your audience. It is often that you will see attendees moved to tears, moved to laughter and moved to make a difference.

Does the speaker use only clean and appropriate humor?
Absolutely! Many of David’s personal stories have a humorous side exclusive of offensive material. David stands as a moral beacon for purposeful living and will never compromise his ethics to entertain or offend an audience.

Is the speaker accessible to attendees before and after the event?
We value our relationships with attendees. One of the ways David connects with his audience is by projecting accessibility and care. David encourages his audiences to come speak to him after events. Of course, time and venue permitting.

Does the speaker “hard sell” products from the platform?
You hire us to speak not to sell. The only thing David hard sells from the platform is a belief that everyone in your audience has the ability to realize and actualize their own personal power. The speaker may ask permission to place self-authored books, CD’s and DVD’s on a back table. This will always be negotiated in the contract phase.

Is the speaker’s office responsive to requests for information?

Is the speaker’s fee negotiable?
Many speakers and agencies are all over the place on their fees believing that the larger the bankroll of an organization, the larger the fee charged. DavidPatrickLeadership believes in price integrity. Therefore, our fee schedule does not fluctuate a great deal. In these tough economic times, we are always open to helping your organization meet its financial obligations as long as we can meet ours. If price is ever an issue talk to David and we can always find alternatives to make your event a success.

Does the speaker’s standard fee schedule include any discounts? (For certain geographical areas, resorts, time of year, non-profit organizations, etc.)
DavidPatrickLeadership considers the San Francisco Bay Area as his home territory. Contracts within this area are not assessed a travel fee. We are also happy to offer discounts for member organizations affiliated with the Northern California Youth Leadership Seminar. David will also consider fee negotiations with charitable groups. Our largest discounts come through our referral program and multi-day programs that are assessed a 15 % discount. Other options must be discussed with our office.

Can the speaker fill more than one slot which will eliminate the need for an additional speaker – saving money on fee and additional travel expenses?
YES! We value the opportunity to provide workshops, management team building, or discussion panels beyond David’s keynote. Not only will you save money by not hiring an additional speaker, you will also benefit from our 15% multi-event discount. Call our office today to discuss the various options available to you. Please note: multi-day events and full-day events will require a fee for hotel and expenses.

What are the payment terms of the speaker’s contract?
Our policy is a 20% deposit of contracted fees to place a guaranteed hold on the date for your organization. The remaining balance must be received by our speaker upon arrival to your event.

Based on all information gathered, am I confident my attendees will be happy with this speaker?
Although we cannot speculate what the feelings and opinions of an audience might be- what we can guarantee is a top notch presentation that will educate, entertain and inspire your audience. David constantly attends conferences and training seminars to keep abreast of current trends and communication techniques that are sure to be audience pleasers.
